SF do you know offhand the weight of your pillow? It doesn't say on the site.
I was only able to put up 10 polls lol. I definitely should have listed the DIY. Which is what I am leaning towards. A fleece or maybe flannel with climashield fill. Thank you all for your replies and ideas.
Thermarest stuff sack with fleece linning. Holds my top quilt by day and windshirt at night.

Bugs: You don't need me to make you look like a fool.
Yosemite Sam: Yer deerrrnnn right I don't!
I love my Thermarest pillow.
Thermarest trekker pillowcase (left over from my car campin' ground days).
I have gone no pillow, camp pillow, and bed pillow, I have found I can sleep with ether or. Car camping I go with my old feather pillow, short hike ins I use a camp pillow that stuffs into a small stuff sack (4x6?), if I'm hiking the whole trip then I wouldn't take a pillow and just fluff up my bag under my head. if I have to choose I go with the old feather pillow it gets lighter the more I use it

I usually find a big rock or some leaves. You know what the say, "leaves of three, sleep in peace"....or something like that.
I used nearly all those pillow options in your poll on at least one trip over the course of 5 years of backpacking; of just one year in a hammock.
My favorite, and only one I have now, is the Therm-a-rest.
My reasoning: I really need something with lift, that's soft and has real support; much like with what you get with a standard pillow in bed.
Which for me, that is what I need to sleep most comfortably. And the Therm-a-rest pillow is the closest option despite being the heaviest.
I went to do the DIY route...It was going to way a ton lol.
Soooo I ordered the Large Exped Air pillow. It is worth every penny! It doesn't feel like sleeping on a balloon. Very soft and fits perfect in the hood of my WM Megalite sleeping bag.
fleece throw blanket for me.. very adjustable and doubles as a extra blanket
