Here are a couple of pics of the spreader bars that Smithobx (the originator of the arrow shaft spreader bars for the Claytor Hammock) made for my new Claytor. This is the first set he has made of graphite (less than 1/2 oz. for both). His originals are made from aluminum arrows.

Nice job ! I have been giving some thought to shock-cording mine, but until I saw yours I wasn't sure how I wanted to go about it .

I just pick up a small stick in the woods and use that.

That's my plan at the moment. I know I would end up loosing the arrow spreader bars.
