The trick to getting the tarp and hammock in the skin is to roll them together so that the middle isn't too thick. I gather them at the middle then lay the hammock wings lines and tarp towards the end. Then start rolling from the middle out towards the end. It may take you a few attempts to get the feel of it but it does work.

    billvan knows the trick!

    Pre-rolling makes life much easier.

I have SS on my WBSF and my CJH tarps. I gave up on trying to pack everything in them as I didn't want to get the hammock bodies wet. Now I just use stuffsacks for the hammocks.

+ 2 on the rolling .... If you don't you'll have and egg in the middle every time.

That said, I started using the skins just for my tarp .... Bhisop bag for the rest. It's a lot more manageable in the pack.

I may be stating the obvious here, but make sure the hammock is hung before trying to stuff it into the skins. When I first got mine, I unrolled everything in my living room because I was excited to see everything. If you try to stuff everything in without any tension on the ends, it is frustrating. You need the ends tied to the tree so you have something to "pull against". It makes the skins go on much better. I also like the roll up tight before you try to stuff method.
