My understanding is that the main ridge line seam on the Mamajamba tarp does not need seam sealer.
On my tarp, I had the side pullouts sewn in. Do those need to be sealed? I think they do but don't know for sure.

I sealed my pull-outs.... they will leak. Not too much of a worry unless like me....you like porch mode with the tarp.

Yes, they will need seam sealing for sure. IMHO and experience.

I am used to using masking tape to mask the straight seams for a clean edge. Any tricks for masking a circle?
I just finger rubbed mine ....... I just don't stare at it.....
Auto pinstripe tape might make that circle.

Just use a Dutch clip for the pattern, it may not be asteticaly pleasing to look at, but it sure would make you smile. HYOH

I did my pulls with homemade seam sealer and a small art paintbrush. You can't really see it once it's dry anyway, so I wouldn't worry about taping it off.
Are you guys talking about the door kits for this tarp? Is sewing on the door panels a common mod? I don't know that I will ever go without my doors for the extra protection they offer. However, I like the option of pulling them off. Also, the Superfly isn't available right now so I can't get a ready-made tarp like that.
I'm looking at the muma to purchase... What can be said about it to push me over? As if being used by Shug isn't enough???
I was going for the pull out and doors, door are a bit of overkill as I dont think I'll need the protection in Aust. but hey if they are there you just cant say no right...?
Is there good and bad seem sealer to use?
