    Wifes new birthday present

Decided to be try and be organised this year and get my wife her birthday present on time. I managed to do this with a Frontline hammock from DD Hammocks Her birthday is December, so a bit early but got from from a group buy on another forum so was a good price. Decided her it early so we could get to use it this summer.

Shes was quite excited about getting it and we managed to get out this weekend and try it out.

Eldest daughter helping her Mum get in to the hammock. Now thats good mothers day present IMHO.

"Now this just goes round here mummy"

Now shes trapped in the fly net.

Now my daughters trying to help me.

Both my wife and I cannot wait until we can go and do an overnight with the hammocks.

What a fantastic pressie for the wife and a good encouragement to get out as a family!
I see you modified the suspension already, im embarrassed to say that webbing came from the UK

I have one for my wife too, never used it yet but im working on her!!

DD do make great kit, thats why i stock it but there is much to be desired when it comes to suspension!!
    I love elevation!!

The webbings not bad, use them as tree huggers and try not to use to much length in them and then use the whoppie slings.
Got to wait to get some more amsteel to make my wife her whoopie slings.

Im not very keen on the webbing at all! infact i have 3 hammocks worth of the stuff. Its like a water wick!

Maybe the only thing DD have not listened to when their customers have requested a change.

    great gift (and pics)

Hope my wife is as pleased when I get her one. She doesn't have to know I just wanted to have two.
I wondered how the bug net fit when turned upside down like that - I thought it might be a bit floppy. Looks like it fits right up against the hammock fabric. Nice.

I tried that one time. My wife got a new shotgun as an early BD present, just before dove season. Backfired on me though, because she loved it and will not let me shoot it.

    Good job.
