    warbonnet method

    Dude seriously, use Brandon's method. Wrap line around stake 1.5 times. Then adjust tension side of line to sit on top of lag line on the back side of the stake. Then you pull lag line to get it as tight as you want. I use Z-line and it grips wonderfully for this knot. Best method, period.

    If he's building his guy lines like my setup, there is NO adjusting at the stake - no need of a loop that adjusts.
    Just a fixed loop at the end of the line. All adjustment is done at the line lock.



    If he's just attaching guy line to his tarp without adjustment at that attachment point, then I'd suggest the taut-line. Simple and it works.
