Hello everyone,
I am a hopeful hanger in the Northern Virginia area. I'm looking for ways to lower my pack weight and increase my sleeping comfort when I am out backpacking. As a DIY gearmaker, I am going to be trying my hand at making my own hammock, including a model with a zipper-attached bug net.
I'm looking forward to learning more about hammock camping, and also getting some tips from you DIYers out there.
Also, if anyone is in my area, let me know! I'm always happy to meet other outdoor enthusiasts.
