What's too long?

I'm 5'8" 175lbs, and I started with 3 yards, too. It seems most people say it's a bit short, but it's just about perfect for me.

Thanks again everyone for the tips. I now have one that I used 4 yards and I'll say it is much more comfortable. You can get on the diagonal much easier now so I think it will better. I slept in it and it seems ok. Keep in mind this is the first time I have ever slept in a hammock. I used an old tarp I already had and bought a blue WW pad. I used my down sleeping bag from tent days and it did the job but very large.
I'll keep tweaking and see what I come up with.
