    New DIY Hammock

    Hi All
I am going to make a new hammock for my daughter, she has out grown the old one.
So the plan is to make one with similar ends to the TTTM hammock, but I am not sure how to construct the channel at each end that the cord passes through.
If anyone has any clues I'd be very happy to hear about it.
    Thanks
    Andrew

I've made a hammock with channels at the end.
I based it on the Claytor expedition.
It's pretty easy to just fold over.
I think about 2-3" 'final' opening is good.
Just make sure you triple stitch the fold over.
Also, like the claytor, I reinforced the ends od the channel.
I used seatbelt webbing to do this.
    It will help with abrasion.
