If I can't make it 5miles away to the lake easter weekend - as long as its going to be nice I'll prob go to my backyard - change of scenery from the brazilian hammock in the garage

Yup, a backyard simulated Group hang. I'll get off the ground in about a hour an a half. 'Bout time to peel the incubator off and get into summer mode. AAAhhhh, anticipation!!
alright, my question to all of you is... how's it hangin? no really...
i have two trees in the backyard that are double the distance apart i wish they where, and i work around that with longer straps and a ridgeline, but how do you hang in your backyard?

I hung outside last night. Think I'll do it again tonight since I was too lazy to break everything down this morning and my setup is still in place.
Might, just might, even get a fire going in the fire-pit just to make if feel real.

You should check out some of the one-tree threads. There are lots of folks in similar situations. Just a couple from a quick search:

I'm lucky, gots lots of trees and a handful of stands. When it gets full, I start using the one-tree methods. Just have to get that non-tree connection very well anchored and you'll sleep with ease.

Hanging in my back yard makes its easy to raid the fridge in the middle of the night if I get hungry plus I don't have to worry about forgetting a piece of equipment
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
