LOL... for me it's my rooster. Woke me up at 5:30 the other morning... wasn't even light outside. Guess he knew it was a work day.

The backyard is great for those times you just can't get out into the woods.

Since I got off into these hammocks I have found myself camping out in the yard much much more tan in the past. Even on a week night I can hang a hammock in just minutes...and take down a dry hammock before I leave for work....in the past it was ......leave the tent up to dry....or not even camp out in the yard at all..
The hammocks have just made it so much easier for me.....

Fortunately i have a couple pines, maples and an apple tree... my favorite is the maple trees they are spread just perfect
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Ok, pix or it didn't happen? Here's my front porch, hangin' with the gnome, watchin' the world go by set-up. That's my Viet Nam souvenir hammock. And the back yard camp-out set-up. The garden tool shed built to tweak the neighbors. It did! "What kinda hillbilly do we have moving in here? Did you see what he put in his back yard?" Note that I use eye-screws, for those of you who ask about them.
