ASM Troop 216, Cary, NC.
Currently, I'm the only adult that hangs. We had about 20 (of 27) hanging on the last campout. 1 in a HH Expedition, everyone else in ENO.

Troop 405 in Durham, NC, One scoutmaster, one adult leader, and two scouts prefer hammocks. The other six scouts like hard work, long setup and pack up times, and waking up with sore joints.
Troop 577 Buckley, Washington. I think we have between 4-6 youth hangers, no adults yet. I myself have been hanging since August and love it. We now have a total of 60 scouts, 4 assistant scoutmasters, 2 junior assistant scoutmasters and one scoutmaster.

SM - Troop 120 in Seneca SC. 2 adult hangers and 3 scouts.
We are just bringing hammocks back into our troop. We banned them for about 2 years.
We had an issue with new scouts being buddy'ed with older scouts, leaving the new boy in a tent by himself. Also a LNT issue where fewer trees in a camping spots meant the boys were making new paths to spots.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
Scoutmaster - Troop 16, Moraine Trails Council, Pennsylvania.
We have 2 adults hangers, and probably close to a dozen scouts that use them on and off.

All,
I am the SM for Troop 43 Sea Cliff, NY. I have been hammocking for 4 years now and love it! I just built a Turtle Dog Stand so I can do a hands-on Hammock 101 demo at our District Round-table. I have one ASM who has been hammocking for 2 years and about 8 out of 30 scouts now sleep off the ground.

ASM for Troop 845 out of Stafford VA. One other ASM and I do the hammock thing. My son prefers a hammock. The Troop leadership is hesitant to support hammock use and as such we di not have a position/policy set forth. Slowly working the matter...
Same troop as CowPatty above. We'll get there.

ASM, Troop 123 Salem CT. I started hanging along with my son about two years ago.. We are a small Troop. Of the 10-12 people we have who go on campouts we now have about 8 of us who hang. We have pieced together 3 hammocks setups for the troop to get scouts interested. Our newest scouts have tried them and purchased their own setups.
