    Just measured mine... 30ft.

I took the maximum span of my blackbird and whoopies plus the circ of the larger of trees that I see... and why not throw another foot in for knots...

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

30' here. I also carry 2 ea 10' extensions with loops on each end. I had to use an extension on a recent outing due to the circumference of the trees. They were about 16 feet apart and 3' - 4' diameter Ponderosa's. 30' just wouldn't quiet make it. The extension are great for lashing things anyway.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Mine is currently around 30', so I guess I'll keep it that way.
