    tarp guylines

    when you guys pack up your tarp how do you avoid tangling the guylines, or is it just inevitable?

    My Zing-it guy lines haven't tangled yet... I do gather the panel pull guys up before stowing the tarp in the skins.

    I usually wrap mine around my 4 fingers to make a bundle and them thie the end with a marlin spike hitch. Another thing I have is a piece of velro sewn onto elastic. That gets attached to me STLs and the webbing for my ridgeline.

    I just wrap the line directly above the d-ring, and then tuck the tail into the wrap. I have used this method for two years now and it works for me. I have used it with mason line and triptease with no issue. It takes a few seconds longer to wrap it but saves a lot of time when setting up.
