I finally got out for a over nighter at Afton State Park in Afton, MN. Most of the snow is gone and temps are pretty decent.

Great trip report video and thanks for the gear list.
How did the under quilt work out for you?

How is the hanging in Afton...it always seems to close to the city to really get away...
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Nice videos!
Have you ever met a turkey that wasn't obnoxious? Glad you had a great time and got to test out your gear.

Good job reporting on "Life in Afton"! It's one of my favorite day hiking spots, though I've not overnighted there (yet!).
Thanks for letting us tag along.

Always fun to watch a video and go...."I know that spot"...."I know that trail".....
It is a good quick get-away. I always go in the week and it is pretty isolated.

Its nice to get to the woods. I liked your dual purpose refectx pouch/sit pad. Two wks ago i was driving home from a local town and the traffic had to stop for about 30 turkeys on walk about.
