Great place! The best part is that it is so close...nice place to do an overnighter and not what you would think being that close to the cities.

Weekdays are a lot less busy...There are some people during the day, but camping out, you're usually alone.

Spring is here and everything is out enjoying it! LOL Definitely a great place for the day hike though.

It is a good quick get-away. I always go in the week and it is pretty isolated.

The pouch is very efficient on keeping your food cooking long after you put it in there....same goes for your butt! LOL
I've seen more turkeys this year....more than usual..

Thanks! Do you have a question about it or just wanted a more detailed review? I can do a separate thread or video on the hammock if there is enough interest...

Anybody with a Eddie Bauer throw blanket want me to start a DIY UQ thread? If not, that's cool just wanted to make it justifiable to start a new thread if there was enough interest..same goes for the hammock..

I decided to try Afton yesterday for an overnighter. Hadn't been there before. I went to site #12 as well just to be safe since I knew a fellow hangar had already deemed it a good choice tree-wise for hammocks. Here's my short video.

Haha That was you? I would've said "hey" if I knew you were out thre.

I also saw that random gun and decided not to touch it. It just looked like the perfect scenario for a prank show.
