Thanks...the underquilt worked better than I would have expected. My phone said it got to 36 degrees that night and I had no cool spots. It is a 1/2 UQ, so I did notice that I need to position just right to get optimal coverage.Originally Posted by Veto 65

How is the hanging in Afton...it always seems to close to the city to really get away...

It can be pretty busy with "recreational users". Ski area, boaters, swimmers, travelling campers, etc... I tried to go there looking for birds once and gave up on it pretty quickly.
Good job reporting on "Life in Afton"! It's one of my favorite day hiking spots, though I've not overnighted there (yet!).

Just the ones on my plate during Thanksgiving!It was a blast...wish you could have made it..
Weekdays are a lot less busy...There are some people during the day, but camping out, you're usually alone.
Spring is here and everything is out enjoying it! LOL Definitely a great place for the day hike though.
Everybody's trip report videos really make you want to get out even more!! Maybe this will spark somebody else! Week days are definitely the time to go if you want to be alone...Thanks for watching!
The pouch is very efficient on keeping your food cooking long after you put it in there....same goes for your butt! LOL
