The JRB system came with a chain length and dutch biners. I just ran the chian length through the channels and finished it with a larkshead then clipped the biners on. At that point I just clipped the ridgeline to the biners. It's a little high but still works. Hope this makes sense.
I have a Clark nx 250 and a HH safari a Speer and a GT Ultra I added a bug net and zipper along with a structural ridgeline use rings and webbing. A great little, quick, lite setup, It is comfortable and you will be hard pressed to beat the price.

At $20 a piece, I couldn't resist getting a couple of these for the kids, small enough to put in their packs when we are dayhiking, and you never know, maybe they'll let their ol' Dad borrow one now and then!

Here is a pic of one of my GT Ultralight's next to a friends NEW Switchback DL. I cary it everywhere i hike, quick to setup and take down, i did put a ridgeline on it between the rings. I use the harborfreight webbing and have a couple Dowel toggles attached with small bungie cord to the rings also. It is my favorite hammock. Made me a Half bugnet but have not had to use it yet, you can see it hanging in a mesh bag in the pic. Folds up super small and really light.
thats aweasome. they really do sound great. at first I thought about an eno single nest because I knew how small they packed but I decided to do some research for my small hammock and found the ultralight and I havent looked at anything else since haha
I always bring a GT UL in my day-pack... and when it's not in the pack I keep it in the car just in case I need to hang.
I just got to try one out this weekend (thanks to Rook!) and found it actually pretty comfortable. I wanted to ask how you added a bug net? (oh and a zipper, guess you sewed it together yourself??).. I tried the Skeeter Beeter Pro and didn't feel that comfy due to the stretchy parachute material (the UL is just nylon and so firmer and felt like a flatter lay which I preferred) .. so we thought maybe the regular Skeeter Beeter was the same as the UL with a bug net on it but from what I saw on their site it didn't look it like it was the same material..Originally Posted by Busky2
Did you find that you could get bitten through the hammock though since it's not a double layer? I wondered about buying two of them and just making it a double layer.
