I didn't mean you had to let the cat out of the bag. I have the hike bug REALLY bad, but I have to wait. I do not understand why hiking is not an OK valentines gift. I mean you spend time together don't ya. I am very envious, and yes, it's ok for preachers to be envious when another person is going hiking . Have fun, and hike vicariously for me.

Doc's wife is "letting" him go hiking as his Valentine's Day gift. Sounds like a plan to me. Don't sweat it, PM, you'll get your feet on some trail soon enough. Until then, you have your faith to keep you strong.

Someone's going to the gorge without me? I have a ton of time on my hands as I am still working out the jo issues. Clue me in if you are doing a hike in and want some company.

If it helps the decision my next campfire experiment is baking bread.

I'm working on a trip to RRG for the end of March or so. I'll probably hit it for a day hike or 2 between now and then, though. This weekend: AT between Wayah Crest and NOC! Trip report forthcoming on Monday, hopefully.

I'm heading to the RRG (in Kentucky) on Saturday for some dayhiking. The fiance and I have to pick out the spot for our wedding.

Enjoy your trip! I can't wait to read about it!

I really need to get out for an overnight at the RRG soon, maybe in the next couple of weeks. The last couple of weeks have been "eventful" for me and I really need to unplug for a little while before I short circuit . I would be glad to have you come along (or anybody else).

My quilt is almost finished; just a few minor details to go. It's been an interesting experience that I will elaborate on when I post pics. I wanna take it out for it maiden voyage while the temps are still cold.

Speaking of Wallmart - I'm on a road trip that is taking longer than it should. Did you know you can set your TomTom to alert you to Walmart locations?
Haven't found anything not available around Nashville, but driving through Ark. on the way to Texas really needed something to do to break up the drive. Not much for scenery through there!
