I found two on my DJ but they weren't threads that had come out or anything, it was just the end seam. I just took my lighter and burned them back and I haven't seen them since.

Not that uncommon and not much of an issue. Like ChrisH said, just zap them with a lighter.
    Trust nobody!

i had some lose threads on my velcro opening when i first purchased. After about a eight months of use, the velcro actually came unstitched on one side.

took it to a seamstress and she said the person who had machined it had just gone too close to the edge. she double reinforced it and ive never had an issue since. meh, so one slipped through the net... a little bit... it happens.... im not gonna complain about it to hennessy, they have done more than they have ever been required to for me and the hammock still works a treat.

If its something thats going to be detrimental to the hammock then talk to hennessy, if its aesthetic then burn/cut it off. whatever happens youve prob got one of the best customer services in the world at the other end of the phone!
