Hello from Franklin, TN!

Hey guys! I'm glad to be a part of the forums. I have already learned so much from reading your postings, and I am excited to learn more and connect with the hammock community.

I pretty much grew up in McLean, IL(near Bloomington), spent some time in Orlando, and now currently reside in the Nashville area, working as an audio engineer. I love Tennessee! This state has some amazing parks, and I am trying to hit as many as I can, as well as hitting some trails out of state. Since I started backpacking, I have been eager to get off the ground and up in a hammock. To pack so light and be so comfortable; I don't think that there is a better way.

I just received my Warbonnet Blackbird and Big Mamajamba today, and the weekend cannot come soon enough! It came WAY earlier than expected, so many thanks to Brandon and crew!

We just did a 5-mile hike at Radnor Lake this morning and are planning an 6-mile hike Sunday at Bearwaller Gap Trail (which should be posted soon). Got several over-nighters coming up, all posted on the Meetup group site.
