Sarcasm aside I did know Shug via his You Tube channel along with medicjimr (can't wait), usframe & Ggreenvideos. Seeing those fellas show there rigs helped spur me into trying a different set up for my outdoor adventures.

I look forward to reading what grizz, justjeff & the others mentioned talk about on here. As they have traveled much further on this hammocking path than I have.

    +1 to that!

A little drunk but usually broke. Guess it is better to get poison ivy or oak compared to various other itches! Nothing like hanging!

Welcome to HF. I am a new person to HF, myself. I blame YouTube and especially Shug for my epiphany to hammocks.

I can't blame it on shug...... completely, anyway. My wife found the Hennesy site and we started researching, and who should I find on YouTube..... Shug, of course. Long story short we both went with Hennesys and broke free the bonds of the ground dweller.... Lol. Haven't looked down since. So, from the South Carolina Low Country, hang in there.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.....

I have no doubt in my mind that Shug is to blame here, he gives us subliminal messages in his vids. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Camp I'm glad you jumped on this ride, I know it's changed my point of view with the great outdoors.....

From another new person who is hooked, welcome aboard. I took an entire day off of work and spent it in my hammock, in the back yard, watching all of shug's videos. Great stuff.
