The great thing about a hammock is that you don't actually need a "good camping spot" at least a good tent spot. I mean it is nice to have a flat open site, but after you use a hammock for a while you realize you can set up over rocks or logs or on hillsides and be just fine. I sometimes try and find the most unlikely spot to camp just for fun.

Mark, it's very true that you don't need a good flat spot. However, I consider a good camping spot somewhere that has few dead branches hanging overhead and where someone else has already made a fire pit so that the impact of my sleeping there is minimal. That is what I mean by "good camping spot" and once you're on the 207 there are 2 spots like that. However, there are some really nice spots just slightly off trail that are great as long as you don't have anyone with a tent in your group.
