Even though I joined a month ago, never got around to an intro. I live about as far North in WI as you can get without crossing into the UP of MI.
I bought an old style Eureka Chrysalis last year and have yet to use it. I have seen some interesting mods of the Chrysalis on here and will most likely start making changes after I use it a few times.
Also recently bought a Hammaka 2 person on Overstock.com and have taken to modifying it right out of the bag. I am having fun learning all of the various suspensions. An ingenious group here.
I like to backpack, canoe camp, and hunt out of a backpack. I'm set-up for all seasons, and recently acquired a small wood stove and equipment for Winter camping. I've also built a few stoves out of stainless and titanium.
I look forward to learning from everyone here. Where is a good place to buy material, both strap and rope for slings? Thanks.
