Pip, seems those are sold out...too bad, because I would have gone with that!!!
the Chinook is definitely a possibility-those seem sold out everywhere too. I have an old tarp that I am going to let her try out next weekend, and we will go from there. If she is comfortable with the hammock idea, I will start looking for tarps for her-or, upgrade mine, and give her mine. For now, there are a lot of good alternatives you all posted here, that I can steer her towards in the meantime. I just need to make sure she likes it first
Apart from her using the DD, I am going to steer her towards an ENO double, when she looks to purchase. Its small, light, and would be about perfect for her. I am introducing her to all this slowly....she has almost no camping experience at all. Cant jump into a high end sportscar on your first day driving...so, I am keeping her out of my WBBB for now

Keep an eye out on those Gear Guide tarps-- they've been sold out before and have been restocked. I bought my first one about a 3 months ago, they sold out soon after I bought mine. I bought 2 more about a month ago and they are sold out again. They will probably be back in stock soon.
