I didn't get any pics of that on this trip, but yes I did. I also used my trekking poles on the foot end and hung my gear hammock between them. I think I like that setup to keep my gear out of the way the best for now. Next trip I will try something else I'm sure...

Interresting set up idea...what kind of gear hammock set up do you have? Pics?

Woooooo Buddy! The Kelty 12x12 was part of a major moto luggage system space overload (weight was not noted on the ride). I had to leave some items behind for an overnighter that were closer to needs than wants. An overnighter made this work but any longer would have been ugly. That brought these two tarps and some HG down stuff orders (still waiting on HG). Aaaand to think I started the hammock journey to save cash and reduce "stuff".

Muse has one of the Gear Boxes with SEEP from Mac.

In all fairness no Muse usually does not get his gear as fast as normal...sorry Dawg your normal He is always having me make him some costume this or that, and then having me deliver it in the field. Dang hiking, really takes away from my gear making...
