At the top corners of the tarp there are two rings instead of one each. Any reason as to why? I'm just trying to make certain I take full advantage of every design feature. Thanks!

Are you talking about the rings at the ridge line...?
If so, my thought was one ring for connection to tree, the other possibly for connection to hammock for bugnet, etc...
Yep... The rings at the ridgeline.
i think Brandon puts 2 rings there for additional strength. 2 small rings give a fail-safe factor, as well as, lighter weight.
i use mine as if they where one.
i use a crl under my tarp. i run my crl through both rings and attach to the tree. to tension the tarp ridge i use opie's soft shackle prusik to also attach through both rings and prisiked to the crl.

Does your tarp have doors as permanantly attached or is it an older one? If older, the loops are for optional add on doors...I think.
I've used the two in a garda hitch configuration when I didn't have a CRL with me. Worked well, easy to adjust and undo and no knots required.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
they are meant to be used as one, the single ring of that size could bend in high wind if pitched tight (only talking about the ridgeline here which sees more force than the ground corners)
Ah... Cool. Thanks!
