    Zpacks tarp arrived -- wonderful

My cuben fiber zpack hammock tarp arrived. It's wonderful. I ordered wings/doors so I can close it up in really heavy wind-blown rain and in winter to trap a little more warmth. Ultra crazy super light. Beautiful craftsmanship. Perfect seams and nice, light, strong, well stitched tieouts. Looking forward to trying it next week on Pennsylvania's Old Logger's Path on a nice solo hike. Hey, let it rain. I have plenty of coverage with this tarp. Now if my ti tri caldara with inferno wood insert will just arrive on time, I'm all set. Goodbye alcohol fuel bottle weight. Hello free, easy-to-find-anywhere wood. More gram weenie successes ahead.

I got mine last week too. I seam sealed it and it's ready to go. The stuff sack it came in is SMALL though, especially with lines. I may need to order a size up.

+1 on the excellent craftsmanship. I can't wait to get it out on the trail.

Good luck with the new tarp and have a blast going through OLP. Its one of my favorite trails. Its a shame that its too cold to enjoy the swimming hole over at yellow dog and rock run. Be sure to take some photos

Just got mine on Monday and love mine too! Also got the built in doors so essentially have a skinny superfly with doors at only 6 ozs! Set mine up with 1.25 Z-Line for the tieouts and side pullouts and an Whoopie Slings continuous ridgeline. Also added some snake skins that I had and the whole thing comes in at 10.5 ozs. Looking to swap out the ridgeline with some Dutch Flyz and sew up a lightweight python cover out of netting to drop that weight a little more.

Super light and wraps up really small. I will say that the stuff sack that came with mine holds everything stated above with plenty of room to spare. Won't have time to seam seal this week so let's hope for the best for this weekend, but wonderful product!!!!!

    Thanks Joe!!!!

    Congrats on getting your tarp!

Just saw one of these in person today, and I have to say it is made extremely well! I was very impressed with the stitching and craftmanship, on par with all the other cottage industry gear makers that I have dealt with!
