A few thoughts after a backyard test

i have camped several time in 18 to 19 degree weather,it is 17 right now in my back yard is going to drop a few more degrees tonite

it weighs 2 lbs less when you ditch the outer cover,i am only using this bag because i am in my back yardneo

I think the pad is the lightest way to go. I just don't like the way it feels. An underquilt costs more, but is more comfortable to me.

I'm chickening out of sleeping in the back yard tonight. I need to twick the whipping on my hammock and don't think I have anything new to test until I make a new hammock sock. That and it is nice and warm in my house with the Browns vs Steelers game on.

i cant even feel my pad in my claytor jungle hammock,because it fits between the 2 layers neo

Some of us have condensation issues when we use a pad. Even if I'm not touching the pad, I can feel the moisture.
