    New from Canada....eh?

    hello happy hangers!!

im from a little town in Northern Ontario named North Bay. ive recently again started canoe tripping through Algonquin park and was alittle peeved about lugging my tent around with me as the heaviest part of a portage (besides the boat ). a friend of mine let me borrow his Hennesy Expedition and i am now a proud owner of two asym models !!

im really looking forward to using this site to compile tips and instructions on DIY gear, especially for making tarpets i really dont think in a rainstorm the stock HH tarps will hold up...(and i find its nice to have some walls for privacy when camping with others).

    anywho thats that.

btw the SHUG vids are awesome! looking forward to watching more of those!!!

Welcome, your "eh" at the end reminded me of an old joke about how Canada was named. All the letters of the alphabet went into a hat and they drew one at a time. First was C....eh, then N.....eh..... I smile every time I hear an eh from a yooper or a northern friend.

    Welcome OntarioHanger

Welcome to the forum there. As Odds points out there is a canoe hang being planned for Algonquin Park. Seems like you are already prepared for this venture by having the 2 necessary items. A hammock and a canoe.

I hope you can make it out. There is not better place to get an education on hammocks with having a great time with like minded people.

A bunch of us were also out winter camping this past weekend. Check out the trip report .

    Cheers

    Brian
