    Lightbulb FS: Lawson BRCH

    Lawson Blue Ridge Camp Hammock
This was the first hammock I bought for myself, and my first sale attempt in the forum. In the end the hammock wasn't for me, I'm trying to go UL. It doubles as a ground bivy. Still has all the parts, including tarp and all the sacks. I'd prefer to keep it, but Cuben Fiber is expensive and I'm on Broke St.

    $100 (+shipping) OBO.

Is this considered a bridge style hammock?

I admit, this is one of the very few hammocks out there that I haven't had my hands on yet. But, from the pictures I've seen it doesn't look to be a "bridge" hammock to me. It looks like it's more of a plain 'spreader bar' hammock; similar to the American backyard hammocks.

Again, I could very well be wrong since I'm basing that solely from pictures.
    Trust nobody!

My apologies, I think my understanding of the definition was wrong. 'Spreader bar' sounds more accurate than 'bridge', so that's probably correct. I thought they were the same thing.

I think that all bridge hammocks have spreader bars, but not all hammocks with spreader bars are bridge hammocks. Or something like that. Sounded good in my head. But back to the hammock, intriguing, never saw one of these... must resist urge to collect another hammock.........

Here is a video of my friend Chris (who is over 6' tall and around 200lbs) in the hammock without the tarp (which is included). $100 and I'll cover the shipping fees?

I bought a Lawson for Timberrr but after testing it, we returned it within 30 days and ordered a second ENO setup. It does allow for setup for going to ground as a plus...but I don't intend to sleep on the ground anymore.
