I just got my 1.7 about ten days ago. I spent two nights in it on a 20 mile backpack trip last weekend--it was great.

I ordered mine with straps and I'm not sorry I did. Combined with two carabiners, set-up takes about 45 seconds.

The only thing that MIGHT make the system better would be to substitute the carabiners with Dutch clips.

    Straps are great!

I have both a Hennessy and a WBBB. Get the adjustable straps. Set up is very easy and you can adjust your hang very quickly. As a new WBBB owner, I am still jiggling the suspension to dial it in right. I have the double layer, but I do mostly canoe camping so extra weight is not that much an issue for me as it is for hikers.

I just got my WBBB with the adjustable suspension and have to say it is great. Very easy to set up and I don't think it is too heavy at all. I will put in the disclaimer that I'm a noob with this. I spent the night last night in mine in my back yard in a light rain. It was great. My BMJ tarp did it's job very well.
I think tou'll love the set up that Brandon puts together and he is a great guy to work with. Enjoy!

Ditto on the straps, make sure you also purchase some carabiners or Dutch Clips for quick setup and to attach straps around the tree. The whole setup process takes maybe 2 or 3 minutes.
