    WTB: REI Flash 18

I'm looking to pick up a flash 18 with the dual daisy chain on the outside to do a bit of experimentation with, I can do cash or a trade if I have or can make something that tickles your fancy.

I have one I may be willing to part with. One or two of the daisy chain loops are blown though, and one of the shoulder straps is ripping away from the bag a little, though. Two things. One, what were you thinking about doing with it? And two, are these wear and tear marks okay for your experimentation?

I have some thread injecting ability so the wear and tear isn't a big worry. My plans are to add a shock cord compression system and a pocket on either side and maybe a little modding to the hip belt. It would be my first pack project. The goal is to be to get some ul overnighters out of it this summer. So how much would you want if you decide to let it go?

Hmm... Anything you'd be willing to trade? It's only a $30 pack new, but I was thinking more around $20. I know it's probably not the bargain you were looking for, but I'm not really trying to get rid of it. I could do without it, but I just need a little persuasion, I guess.

Let's see I could trade a wood stove, or alcy stoves if you are in the market for either. I could probably manage a pot to go with either as well. Anything in particular you're looking for?

Ooooh! Let's hear a little about the different stoves you've got! I've got a Soto Micro Regulator Stove right now, but I am curious about both the wood and alcohol stoves. And anything decently lightweight in terms of pots?

How about a cat stove, pot stand and k mart grease pot or a single wall wood stove. I would need a little consideration to do a wood stove and pot as they cost more time and money to make. Or if you want all of the above we could probably work something out. I can also do soda can stoves, down draft gasifiers etc. The single wall wood burner and cat stove are my preferred set up, but there's a lot of personal preference there.

Any guess on the weight of one of your single walled wood stoves? Maybe a picture? If it looks enticing, that will probably seal the deal for me.
