Do you use snakeskins for a hammock as well as a tarp?
    Which cottage industries sell them?
    Thanks

Hey bud, If you go to Hennessey hammocks you can get snake skins there.

I used to use 'em for both the hammock & tarp

but I have come to the conclusion that snaking the tarp is best because it keeps the hammock dry (which I store in a home-made Bishop Bag).

I also use the skins on my tarp and a bishop bag for the hammock.

I cain't live without'em for the tarp, but don't see the necessity for the hammock (yet).

They are a snap to make with either mesh or nylon, take yer pick. The last set I made took 20 minutes and cost $zippo (recycle bin special)!

    Get some.

    Cheers

No cottage industries sell the Snakeskins as they are an HH brand.

Good point SA. These are some finely crafted items with line pockets and the no-see um is handy for wet tarps. MG asked me what diameter I wanted and I went for somewhere between 4 to 6 inches. They wrap up my Traveler and a Shangri La tarp nicely but will be used for tarps only.
