For the American readers, size 43 is a 9 and 44 is a 10 1/2. Birkenstock is a great company, producing sandals that will last decades. I only wish I could wear these, but my size 13 feet won't squeeze into these.

I have a pair like the tan ones - had for 8-9 years and about ready for resole #2! Still going strong. My favorite shoes.
