First DIY Top Quilt finished

Last night i finished off my quilts that i started working/thinking about since November.

Here are some pics on how it progressed.











Cant wait to use it during the Spring MAHHA. Might even figure out what i want to do with the footbox.

Yep. Used what Bloomingdales calls an 800 fill pillow. Got it very cheap and still have some left. I believe an under quilt will be the next project.

I also give 2 thumbs up for the Bloomingdales 800 fill pillows. I have bought several of them off Ebay over last 6 months. Based on the High quality 800 down I have bought from some of the typical venders here on the forums I would estimate the Bloomingdales pillows to be close to that quality. One can snag a 800 fill pillow with up to 32oz of down in it for as little as $70. Good quality down for those on a budget.

Just went to Bloomingdales website. "The Flair" is the down pillow they carry there. They say its a 625 fill power. Are the pillows mentioned above a different pillow?

Thats the pillow from bloomingdales. I got the king size one on Ebay.

If you type "my luxe" into Ebay you should come up with a several 800 fill pillows and comforters. I also search Bloomindales and 800 fill.

What is the finished weight of your quilt? i just ordered a queen size Bloomingdale pillow for $47 including shipping! Hope its good!
