Mine weights in at about 2lbs.

    The dimensions are as follows:
    52 head
    39 foot
79 length (need to double check)

I kinda messed up with getting the right baffle height. Was aiming to get about 2-3 in of loft for it to be a 20F bag but have around 4-5in of loft which would put it up in the 10F range. So my 3 season is more of a 4 season.

I love the look of Karo quilts. I'm simply going to have to make one some day.

    Very Nice!

That’s an excellent looking quilt and a very clever acquisition of inexpensive down. I just might have to pirate the idea.

I wonder why these pillows are so much less expensive on ebay than from Bloomingdales? Did you get the Queen or King? Their website doesn't list the number of oz of down in either, so I'm not sure which to buy.

Well i used to king size one firm and i have a bit of down left over. I you are going to make a bag like mine with maybe a little less loft then i would say a queen is going to be enough.

I really like your quilt, and I want to attempt a similar design but with more loft (and more down) for colder weather. Not to hijack the thread, but can someone who has purchased one of the My Luxe ebay pillows comment on how many oz of down they contain for a king or queen size? I think someone mentioned 32oz for a king size, but I'm not sure.

I have bought 4 My Luxe pillows from ebay. 2 were Standard/Queen size and 2 were King size pillows. Some Auctions post the fill weight and some don't. What I have figured is the ones that are firm fills obviously have the more down in them. I have watched a lot of auctions over last 6 months and found that paying about 2.75$ an oz or less (with shipping) was about the sweet spot and anything over that was to much and I could wait for another pillow to come around. Most auctions say they are brand new pillows and my guess is they are probably display models but it was to good a price to pass up for decent down. When I make the quilts from these pillows I weigh my down as I put it in and with fly aways I would say that the advertised fill weights are pretty close to what I get out of them.

Here are the fill weights to the best of my recollection that I have bought.
    1 Standard/Queen— Soft/Medium Density 18oz Fill
    2 Standard/Queen— Medium/Firm Density 22oz Fill

1 King— Standard Soft/Medium Density 25 oz Fill
    2 King— Medium/Firm Density was 32oz Fill

Here are 2 Ebay sellers that I have seen that have My Luxe pillows on a regular bases Closeoutlinen, and Marceoutlet. I have had good success from both these places.

You know what really sucks. Now The Luxe is gonna be harder to find for cheap because we will all be bidding against each other.
