Hey everybody. Just putting it out there that I stopped by my local hancock fabrics tonight and they had their 1.9 ripstop on sale for $3.49/yd. I picked up 3.5 yards to whip up a quick diy hammock.

Just in time for Mother's Day! My mom was intrigued by my diy gathered end hammock--time to bring out the thread injector.
Thanks for the heads up!
You're gonna need a bigger hammock
Has anyone used Hancock mosquito netting?
The holes looked rather large to me.
It's stop skeeters, but them little black crawly things and a good load of gnats will walk right through.
Worse SIG Manufacturing Control Line contest I went to they had a Gnat problem that year. You couldn't see looking downwind and it was only tolerable upwind if you had a good pair of sunglasses or shop glasses on. The vents needed to be mesh or they'd crawl in. Miserable. Thanks to the sun block I reached back to scratch an itch on my neck and pulled away a black finger. The little buggers were stuck to the sunblock and sweat slurry back there. Worse, there weren't any showering facilities at the field and I didn't have any baby wipes. So it was a wad of TP to clean it off and to bed feeling icky. Next night I found out where the local state park was and showered there. MAN is that a good feeling.
But I can't stand them little buggers and they don't need much of a hole to make their way in. But the smaller, little black beetles don't take any room and those suckers bite. Your net will be mosquito and bigger proof only.
