    Beware of zealots, of any kind. The Zeppelin Bend is excellent but the Grapple Hitch does not receive similar respect. There is no substitute for one's own contemplation and research though.

    No matter which knot you use, always remember.........

    A not neat knot need not be knotted!

    I heard that somewhere many years ago, and I guess it means that if a knot is tied correctly there is some sort of symmetry to it.?
