    GG tarp no-sew, no-fabric tie-outs

I have the 12x12 guide gear tarp, and I'd like to add center tie-outs to use it in winter mode. I read the threads on adding them. Problem is, I can't sew, I don't have any fabric, and I'm terrible at DIY (see signature). Is there a easy, cheap way to do it? Would a simple grommet punch work? I'm considering just using a larks head around a ball on each side (temporary is ok).

    Any advice is appreciated.

yea im definently not a pro at tarp things but that looks like it would damage the tarp after a couple uses or if you tightened the tarp alot. but I don't know. I know my grip clips work good.

it would be hard to place them where you want them, the only place would be on the edges, the grip clips can go anywhere on the tarp!

Actually, your idea of a larkshead around a ball is one of the better solutions.

I got these from Jacks for mine but they keep "sliding" off the edge. They are fine if there is no wind but our wind is anywhere from 20 to 50 mph this time of year.
