I just swapped out WBBB Cinch Buckles and straps for Beetle Bugs and 12ft Poly Dyneema Straps. I love the new suspension but I am questioning my length choice (12ft) for my 2018 AT attempt. So I am considering adding dogbones.
So if you were me, would you:
1. Not worry and make the 12 ft straps work.
2. By two 24inch Dogbones
3. By two 36inch Dogbones
At the end of a long day and pushing miles, I just want the easiest set up; yet Pack weight carried each of those miles also has to be considered. My base weight, winter gear included is over 19lbs so each ounce does cause me to worry about topping 20lbs which I am trying to stay under. Love to hear others thoughts. Three weeks back, I didn’t even know what a Dogbone did!
