Just packed the Circuit and weighed it all. 35lbs. That is roughly 6 days food and will resupply on day 6.
We will be leaving from Erwin TN next Tues. and going north of Damascus. Totals 165 miles in 10 days. We may pull up short at the 130ish mark. This is just the next installment of the Forced Death March.

That's the area of one of my favorite fun-blazes. Saw in the guidebook there was a town about 7 miles off called Happy Valley, or something like that. Anyway, we were hungry for a burger, so we started walking. Never been so happy to not get a hitch! It really did look like a Happy Valley with soft rolling hills and farms between. It was like walking through a postcard. The burger wasn't so great, but the walk into town was second to none.
Have a great hike! That's a good stretch, especially since the last chunk of it is all downhill.
