    Strapworks Seatbelt Webbing

It looks like Strapworks has added an option to order their 'simple sling' in 1" polyester seatbelt webbing. That's a nice, and lighter, alternative to their regular polyester webbing sling. It's nice to see more ready-made suspension components becoming available.

So is there answer to lighter polyester webbing similar to what is taken from the Harbor Freight ratchet straps? What the weight and breaking strength? Anyone know?

The info page for the seat belt webbing states -

The 1" Seatbelt weave webbing is lighter weight than the regular polyester, and close in strength. Low stretch, low absorption rate, non-porous fiber, high strength.
    No specific specs are given.

Strap Works has been really great in catering to the hanging crowd. I can't wait to see some specs on the new lighter webbing.

Thanks for the update. I also like that you can now order up to a 30 ft one. I think before the max was 24 ft (only up to two 12' straps if cut in half).

    12" sewn inverted loop

I think that means the webbing is twisted once over before sewing, rather than just a flat fold. I'm not sure why that would be beneficial, though.

I asked the strapworks guy that in a previous post but didn't get an answer. I'm guessing it means there is a single twist sewn into the loop maybe?
