So last night I went out to test some gear in the back yard and the wind was blowing and gusting from 10-30 mph. I wound up going into the house about 4:30 a.m. because my tarp was making so much noise and the walls kept banging into the hammock. The doors were shut thght and I had the tarp pulled out as far as I could get it without compromising the doors.
Is there a correct way to set up a tarp to minimize these problems? Do I need to add pullouts on the sides, and would this even help at these the wind speeds?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
