    Hey Y'all,

I'm going to make a Zhammock...I need to get the materials online (no Wall-marts near me) so where is a good place from which to order ripstop n stuff?

    Thanks!

I went to Thru-Hiker but I don't see any 1.9 Ripstop...I just see this stuff - 1.9 oz Downproof Rip Stop with Teflon DWR
Is this what I should get?

Can I just use 1.1 rip stop since it will be a 2 layer hammock? - I weigh 190 lbs

...and last question. Whats this 1.1 oz Nylon Ripstop 2nds Anybody ever buy Thru-Hiker 2nds?

Yes, yes, and I don't know.

I'd like to make a two layer 1.1 hammock one of these days.

Check out Quest Outfitters. They have 2cds also and in a wider range of colors.

I've ordered from them several times. Good service and friendly. Fast shipping.

I second the recommendation of Quest Outfitters. I ordered this week, Tuesday morning about 8:30 a.m., had the stuff in my hands Wednesday afternoon about 4 p.m. I'm in the same state (Florida) as them, but I was still thrilled to get it in one day! When we saw the UPS truck, we thought it was my son's motorcycle parts, but they didn't come until the next day.

I told Kay (or is it Kate?) who answered the phone at Quest that everyone online says she's extremely nice and helpful and maybe that's why they sent it the next day. But it's the truth, I wasn't looking for special treatment.
