By far the most enjoyable experience I can remember. Thanks to MML and Sweetbabyd for hiking with me, or allowing me to hike with them! They made for wonderful hiking buddies and I hope to hike with you both again. Thanks to all the guys I got to speak with about ultralgiht. I learned a lot and found it to be a true escape from my day to day. Thanks to Two Tents for the possitive attitude! Everyones generosity was beyond belief.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen. 2q and zq, thanks for bringing me the pocket organizer, I love it!

But most od all, thank you dutch for showing me a technique to hide my beard!

Can't wait for the nedt on!

Thumbs up MAHHA Spring '11 Pics

MAHHA was fantastic this year. Made all the better by getting to do a prehike with good friends and then having my family come for the group hang.

    Here's my MAHHA photo gallery.

Boy, do I hate that I missed that one.
Sounds like you may have had the biggest turn out of people yet for a hammock group hang!
I know most of you are exhausted after a big event like that, but I'm looking forward to hearing more & seeing more pictures as you recoup.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

This was a great weekend, a whole lot of fun and some great laughs. A big thanks to all those who helped put it together. I really enjoyed the new site and hope we have more MAHHA's their in the future. Wish I dident have to leave on Saturday night I am sure I missed out on some good times. As always great hanging out with old friends and making new ones. Cant wait for the fall hang.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I wouldn't have changed a thing. My parents came out and was very complementarity of my great group of friends. It was fun to show off the gear to interested people that may have never seen a camping hammock before.

I really like the facilities there and I would definitely vote to have the spring hang there again next year.

I met some new people this year and I was too busy to really get to know anyones names but it was one cool bunch. Thanks to Pedro and Bummer for helping with breakfast. I've gotten my fill of Shug until he comes out with a new vid.
    Peace Dutch

I don't know where to start or what to say. It was alot of fun. It was great to talk about hammocks and gear with so many ppl. I liked putting faces with many of the names. There were so many ppl to meet and get to know in such a short period of time that it was simply overwhelming. I had good conversations with many folks but I also know there where ppl there I never talked to. The event was so much fun and so well organized. Thanks to all involved in getting this planned. I enjoyed the conversations with the folks I did get to talk to for longer periods of time. I learnt alot. The food was great. Two Tents made the five hour drive feel like five minutes. We both just talked the whole way there and back. I am still overwhelmed. I'll stop yacking.
