i have to agree with cannibal on this, i sleep in a brazillian full time at home , i also use a mayan hammock when the temps warm up, the brazillian is easier to manage blankets and under quilts though

not trying to hijack thread but do you hang with hooks in the walls or stands indoors?

    NewtonGT-

A quick search for indoor hangs will show you lots of threads/posts on indoor hammocks, stands, and attachments. Good stuff!

    Which hammock?

These are the hammock currently in use at Casa Cannibal:

    Jewel XL
Genuine Draft is sleeping in one of the Natural colored ones. This is a thick weave hammock and always her choice for winter. She will probably be switching out to a lighter fabric next month as the temps rise a bit.

    Bossa Nova Deluxe
This is pretty much my favorite hammock ever! I just kept finding myself going back to this one time and again. It's my year-round bed at home.

After discovering last summer that I really like napping in a Mayan hammock when it's hot out, I've been questing for a new summer bed. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this one. I'm fairly (there's the problem) certain it is what I'm looking for. Problem is, that's a lot of coin if I'm wrong. I've dealt with Seaside before and have used their return policy. I found it fair, so I might just do it. The most comfortable thing I've ever laid in was a Mayan hammock. It had a price tag of $499, so I got out of it quick enough. But, man o man was that thing comfy!

You might want to also take a look at hammock bliss. I have heard good things about them. They may be a bit bulky for the ultralight crown but is not what you said you were looking for.
