Personally, I can't stand signatures. Especially long ones.

Some days are just crap. Some days are long and tiring. And some days you just have to sit back, laugh it off and have a wee nip to celebrate the day being over.
I always loved Steven Wright. And this quote reminds me of fishing with my wife...or more specifically, her fishing, and me just standing on the shore like an idiot. She always catches more fish.
My first line is just the way I look at life. We take the outdoors for granted far too often.
The second line just made me laugh.
If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!
'to gratuitously manipulate.' -just like the man and his guitar
"hey, are you gonna come help me filter some water?"
"no sorry, i'm still busy 'becking' my suspension."
"Jeff-Becking"
DOWNTOWN BROWN!!!!
The line from Jayber Crow below is just a beautiful sentiment in a book full of beautiful sentiments. Read it if you get a chance.
For a while I included a quote from OldGringo in my signature. It was simply stated and I had wished I had said it:
For a while I had a quote from Frederick Beuchner up. There is no structure man has ever built that can come close to the church that is creation itself.
We learn to praise God not by paying compliments but by paying attention. Watch how the trees exult when the wind is in them. Mark the utter stillness of the great blue heron in the swamp. Listen to the sound of the rain. Learn how to say Hallelujah from the ones who say it right.
The last line is just a reminder that you have a choice in how your day is going. Choose wisely!
"One of the best things you can do in this world is take a nap in the woods." ~ Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry
"While it may be a lot of work, the view is best from the summit." ~ an anonymous staff member of Philmont Scout Ranch
Enjoy the day

Just a quizzical word game, with a nod to Shug, who inspired (or suggested?) quid pro quo, which I interpreted "substitute quid for quo." Maybe it was better unexplained.
Mine can be taken figuratively or, if the case arises, literally.
If your first shot doesn't hit me center of mass, my double-tap will surely hit yours.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.
I don't have a standard sign off, so I just put (who is...)and some explanation of my status, or comment referring to the topic...keeps things from getting stale!
