The Dana Designs Ribs are smaller than the ribswear and are great for smaller items that need to be easily accessible. They don't come across the front but rather hang more to the sides under the arms. I liked having them on my Dana Designs Glacier for trail mix, map, bug repellent etc. Good luck finding some.

Thanks Brian. I did end up finding the site but they are huge. Little big for my liking. I also found these.

I have one I would sell for say, $45 shipped. I'll put in on the For Sale forum.

I second the suggestion of the Aarn packs, now having seen roughly what you guys are talking about. Seems like the closest thing available, short of someone producing a small front pack. The only real advantage I can see based on that link Brian posted, would be that they're on their own straps and can be kept on your person after you drop your pack. And that advantage is arguable in that it's one more thing to take off and put on.
The Dana Design "ribs" attach to the lower portion of your shoulder straps, in essence becoming a part of your pack. They can NOT be worn separately without some creative strap additions. FWIW, they are also not intended to be a major front-loaded balancing item (like the Aarn balance pockets). They are, however, a convenient place for snacks, map, camera, sunscreen, bug dope, liner gloves and other bits that benefit from ready access while hiking.
I do not use these with my ULA Circuit pack or GG Gorilla pack (my "normal" packs). The hipbelt pockets and the lower pack side pockets accomplish the same result with less fiddling that the DD Wet/Dry Ribs.

I had modified mine to use on my Mchale waist belt. It Is the right side wet rib sz small. I clipped metal pieces off that slide up and down shoulder strap.
Outherwise In good condition.
