It's dead simple. Just a sewed length of standard sized bug net to the high side of a footbox gathered end hammock. I grosgrained the edge. Then I take the corners and tie them in knots so I can tie a length of shock cord between them.
I get in the hammock, grab the shock cord, toss it over the ridgeline, then reach over the side of the hammock and push the shock cord underneath the hammock past my hips so it pops back up on the highside.
